Thanks, Jim. I have no idea what the title and the first two lines mean. I’ve been trying to remember what I was on about, but this was written a few weeks ago late at night.

This reads well. It feels good to read. I’m side stepping the whole ‘meaning’ thing because I’m sure one could impose a variety of meanings on it. The point I’m trying to make is that because it’s the kind of poem one is happy to read over and over again - Christ, I must have read it twenty times already - then one is more likely to try and impose a sense of sense on it rather than simply shrugging and pass on by. That said I’m not crazy on the title (assuming that is the poem’s title). I think it could be more helpful.
