To-do list
- Reinforce eggshell daily, specially the top/laser paint with steel and blue as needed
- If feel soul attempting escape via top of head, employ mercenary combat teen (MCT) to retrieve
- Stuff tentacles back in crown, repair ruptures and seal with additional steel if necessary
- Make popcorn and fresh lemonade
- Show director’s cut of movie (nothing too Lynchian) in third eye cinema
- Kiss baby goodnight and switch on night light

Those damn tentacles! Try tying them in a knot, I find that works quite well.

I’m not sure bout this piece. I get the idea and I like it. It’s a good metaphor but I find myself nitpicking over tiny details, things I wouldn’t have done quite the same way as you and I’m actually not sure going through them would be very helpful. But I will mention a couple of things:
Is there an ‘e’ missing from in from of ‘specially’?
Are the tentacles connected to the ‘soul’? If so, should #3 not begin ‘Once retrieved…’?

Jim: Heh. Yes, there is definitely an ‘E’ missing in ‘specially’. That is the American spelling (old habits and that). As for the rest of it, I’d be rather surprised and impressed if you did know exactly what this very real to-do list is symbolic of (it’s not a metaphor, I can’t do them, remember?)
