It resonated. You were describing me (I sleep with the mobile phone on the table next to me - not a foot from my head, when I wake up in the morning before it goes off, I grab it and clutch it as if it's important to have it close before it goes off). I didn't like the dreams you described, you described them so well. I didn't want to be in that world; and I don't normally dream that kind of dream. Of late, Bruce Willis has been in my dreams in a violent and unpleasant way. I wish he'd get the fuck out. Why's he there anyway? Finally, I love the phrase 'dark clouding it'; I want to use it. Far better than most drugs. Perversely, given the subject matter, there was indeed an unusual clarity of description and even relative mildness of tone through much of this, which I found refreshing.
